3D MODELING OF BIOLOGICAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT IN AERATION TANK

Purpose. The main purpose of the article is to develop a 3D CFD model for modeling process biological wastewater treatment in an aeration tank. Methodology. For mathematical reactor, taking into account flow hydrodynamics, geometric shape tank, convective-diffusion transfer substrate and activated sludge, was built. based on three-dimensional equation motion ideal liquid mass conservation substrate, sludge. field sewage rate tank calculated velocity potential equation. transformation basis Monod model. splitting scheme used numerical integration equations sludge substrate. carried out such way take (activated sludge) only one direction at each step splitting. calculation unknown value concentration according explicit scheme. Richardson method numerically integrate potential, by formula. Euler's describing change (Monod model). Findings. software implementation constructed out. A description structure developed package provided. results computer experiment study with additional elements are presented. Originality. new multifactor has been developed, which allows quick assessing efficiency Practical value. can be analyze under different operating conditions stage sketch design systems.
